thanks for adding me in to your list:) by the way i'm planning to visit Austria in summer..is Salzkammergut too far from Salzburg?i mean should i use either a city bus or an intercity train,i cant see anything about train ticket fares in obb,so i ask this question to you,thanks :)

hi,

a visit in salzburg and the salzkammergut ist always nice... ;)

the west side of the salzkammergut (wolfgangsee/st. wolfgang; bad ischl....) ist about 50 kilometers from salzburg away. but there is no train. you can go by bus, takes about one hour from the main station in salzburg... for example: salzburg main station to strobl am wolfgangsee: [link]
